MacHERE Event — Anti Asian Canadian Racism in the Era of COVID 19 ft. Dr. Jenny Liu

This workshop/webinar conference event, hosted by the McMaster Health Equity student-led initiative, is focused on bringing attention to the discrimination against East Asian Canadians in the era of COVID-19.

McMaster Health Equity through Research and Education is a McMaster student-led initiative, affiliated with the Bachelor of Health Sciences Society, that hosts workshops for students to engage with researchers and healthcare professionals to learn about health inequities. Their goal is to offer opportunities for students to learn about marginalized groups’ experience of health and the healthcare system in Canada, including health inequities, discrimination, and representation in healthcare, particularly through discussions and activities on research.
